I was thinkin'...

...about the life that Kristopher and I share. It's pretty amazing! Our perfect family of 4 went out for dinner on Friday night. Once we got past Rylee throwing up a million times, I sat back and watched as my husband picked on our little boy who picked right back. We were all laughing at a new face that Troy makes. Though we were in a very crowded Olive Garden, it felt as though it was just us. We've had a overly tough year. We had a pretty easy summer by getting rid of the oxygen and apnea monitor. Things over the summer went too smoothly. This fall and winter are going to be another story I am afraid. 2 weeks ago, Rylee suffered from the "common cold" and was treated with antibiotics, steroids, nebulizer treatments, nasal stimulation and even oxygen for 24 hours and when she needed it. Last week, other than a small bout of pink eye, went smoothly with the happy, smiley Rylee. Friday night, she was back to not feeling good. Now, on more than 2 occasions, this poor little girl has thrown up. By throw up, I don't mean spit up, I mean the whole stomach convulsions, heeves, the whole nine yards. She is back to being stuffed up, retracting while breathing at times, running a low temp at times, coughing and just plain feeling yucky. However, this is mostly at night. That is the pattern that I've seen. During the day, she is her same old self, maybe a little grumpier and sleepier but not extreme, so tomorrow we will be back to see good ole Dr. C. This will be visit #7 in 15 days. (Plus Kris and I both went to our eye exams last week so that would make 9 in 15 but who's counting)

Over the night, Rylee has slept well (7:15 am and she's still sleeping). She woke around 12:30 to eat and ended up throwing up her entire "meal". However, we propped her in her Boppy pillow between Kris and I and she's been sleeping soundly since. Troy woke at 6 this morning and wanted to come in with us too. So Daddy and RyRy got the head of the bed while Troy and I got the foot. It works out wonderfully this way. A little strange to the outside eye but you've gotta do what you gotta do.

Speak of the angel, she has woke and she's HUNGRY.

Today, we have omega plans. Casual on the time and not in a hurry by any means. We're heading to Madison to the zoo, eating out at our favorite restaurant, Texas Roadhouse, dropping a load of money at Babies R Us, the mall and Woodman's. Have a great very cool Sunday!
